Amazing Apple Pie Taquitos

Delightful dessert combining apple pie flavors with the fun of taquitos, served with caramel and chocolate sauce.

  • 8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
  • 2 cups apple pie filling (pre-made or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup plant-based butter
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the apple pie filling with the cinnamon and half of the sugar.
  3. Take one tortilla, place 2 to 3 tablespoons of the apple pie filling on one edge, roll it tightly, and seal the edge with melted butter.
  4. Brush the tops of the rolled taquitos with melted plant-based butter.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining sugar evenly over the brushed taquitos.
  6. Place the taquitos on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let the taquitos cool briefly and drizzle with caramel and chocolate sauce before serving.

Notes

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra creaminess. Can be served warm or at room temperature.
