  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (finely chopped)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups Mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll both sheets of refrigerated crescent roll dough on a clean surface and flatten them.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, finely chopped chives, and shredded cheddar cheese until creamy.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly over the flattened dough.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from one edge into a log and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces, each about 1-inch thick.
  7. Grease a muffin tin lightly with melted butter.
  8. Stand each dough slice upright in the muffin tin.
  9. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, additional minced garlic, chopped chives, and kosher salt.
  10. Brush the topping mixture over the dough slices.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
