1 cup fresh cranberries
1–2 jalapeños, finely chopped
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, jalapeños, sugar, and lime juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the cranberries start to burst and the mixture thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Spread the softened cream cheese on a serving platter.
Spoon the cranberry jalapeño mixture over the cream cheese, covering it evenly.
If desired, garnish with chopped cilantro.
Serve with crackers for dipping.
