Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Medium Pasta Shells
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 small Sweet Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Beef Stock
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • Kosher Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.

  4. Sprinkle in Italian seasoning, dried parsley, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for about 1 minute.
  5. Sprinkle all-purpose flour over the beef mixture. Gradually stir in beef stock, marinara sauce, heavy cream, and sour cream. Simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Add the drained pasta shells to the creamy mixture and gently stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  8. Serve hot, optionally garnished with parsley or extra cheese.
