1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 carrots, diced
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Brown the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Add Ingredients to the Crock Pot: Transfer the browned meat into the slow cooker. Add in the onions, carrots, and any other vegetables you’re using.
Pour in the Broth: Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything to combine well.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Add Cream and Cheese: In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheese. Allow it to melt and combine thoroughly.
Serve: Once done cooking, taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot with your favorite bread or toppings.
