Date Caramel Bites

A quick and healthy treat made from Medjool dates, almond butter, and nuts. Perfect for snacking or dessert without added sugars.

Ingredients

  • Medjool dates
  • Salt
  • Almond butter
  • Apple slices
  • Chopped nuts for topping (walnuts, almonds, or pecans)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dates: Slice each Medjool date lengthwise and remove the pits.
  2. Fill the Dates: Spoon almond butter into each date generously.
  3. Add a Pinch of Salt: Sprinkle a tiny pinch of salt on top of the almond butter.
  4. Serve with Apple Slices: Arrange filled dates on a plate and serve with fresh apple slices.
  5. Top with Chopped Nuts: Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of each date for extra crunch.

Notes

For added flavor, mix cinnamon into the almond butter or experiment with different nut butters. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
