  • 1 lb Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Fresh Garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp Fresh Ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Sriracha
  • ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • Green Onions, for garnish
  • Sesame Seeds, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, and Sriracha. Add shrimp and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Coating: Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  4. Dredge the Shrimp: Remove marinated shrimp and coat them in the flour mixture.
  5. Heat the Oil: Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the Shrimp: Add coated shrimp to the pan in a single layer and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain and Garnish: Remove shrimp from the pan and drain on paper towels. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve: Serve over rice or noodles, or as an appetizer with dipping sauce.

Notes

Adjust the spice level with Sriracha based on your taste. Fresh ingredients like garlic and ginger improve flavor. Ensure the oil is hot enough to fry shrimp properly.
