1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
8 oz pasta (any type)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Fresh basil (for garnish)
Brown the meat in a large pot over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until translucent (3-4 minutes).
Stir in crushed tomatoes and broth, bring to simmer, and add Italian seasoning and pasta. Stir well.
