1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup butter, melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, milk, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt, blending until smooth.
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
Pour the pumpkin mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, chopped pecans, and a touch of sugar, then sprinkle this mixture on top of the pumpkin filling.
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cobbler cool slightly before serving warm.
