  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups Halloween-themed sprinkles or candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the Halloween-themed sprinkles or candies.
  7. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each dollop.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are light golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. Decorate as desired once cooled.
