8 slices of French bread
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup honey ham, chopped
1 cup turkey, chopped
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
Cut the French bread into bite-sized cubes.
Place half of the bread cubes in the greased baking dish.
In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
Pour half of the custard mixture over the bread in the dish.
Layer the chopped honey ham, turkey, and shredded Swiss cheese over the bread.
Add the remaining bread cubes on top.
Pour the rest of the custard mixture over the top layer of bread.
Sprinkle brown sugar over the casserole and dot with small pieces of butter.
Let the casserole sit for about 30 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
