Strawberry Hibiscus Tea

A refreshing beverage that combines the tart and fruity flavors of hibiscus flowers and strawberries, perfect for warm weather or gatherings.

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Ice cubes (for serving)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat, add dried hibiscus flowers, stir, and steep for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the hibiscus flowers.
  4. Add sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  5. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
  6. Serve chilled over ice cubes, garnishing with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to preference; can substitute sugar with honey or agave syrup.
