- Wash and trim the green beans. Cut off the stem ends and any brown spots. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, tossing frequently, until they're bright green and slightly tender but still crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce and continue cooking for another minute, stirring to coat all the beans evenly.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Toss once more and serve immediately while hot.
