- Steam or grill the all-beef hot dogs until heated through and lightly browned.
- Lightly toast the poppy seed buns if desired.
- Place one hot dog in each bun and start building your Chicago masterpiece.
- Spread yellow mustard along one side of the hot dog.
- Add sweet pickle relish over the mustard.
- Sprinkle with chopped white onions.
- Add two tomato wedges on each side.
- Place a dill pickle spear next to the hot dog.
- Top with 2-3 sport peppers.
- Finish with a generous sprinkle of celery salt.
Notes
Always use high-quality all-beef hot dogs for the best flavor and texture. Don't boil hot dogs - grilling or pan-frying creates better flavor and texture. Toast your buns lightly to prevent them from getting soggy.
