  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Place the halved cherry tomatoes on top of the cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Gently fold the edges of the puff pastry inward to create a rustic border. Brush the edges with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
