- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Transfer it to the prepared baking sheet.
- Arrange the thinly sliced tomatoes on top of the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use ripe, in-season tomatoes for the best flavor. Pat the tomato slices dry with a paper towel to prevent a soggy crust. For extra flavor, add caramelized onions or garlic powder. Serve warm for the best experience.
