- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil until evenly coated.
- Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using) to the bowl. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they're not crowded.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the beans are tender and starting to brown at the edges. Halfway through cooking, give the pan a shake to ensure even roasting.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and lemon juice.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
Choose fresh beans that snap when bent, don't overcrowd the baking sheet, and serve immediately for maximum crispiness. Can be made dairy-free by omitting Parmesan or using dairy-free alternative.
