  • 2 apples (sliced)
  • 1-2 Tablespoons drippy almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1-2 Tablespoons mini chocolate chips
  • 1-2 Tablespoons chopped toasted pecans

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Make date caramel sauce if you haven't already.
  2. Wash and slice the apples, leaving the skin on. Add apple slices to a plate in a single layer, if possible.
  3. Drizzle date caramel sauce on top of the sliced apples then drizzle on the nut butter. Sprinkle on chocolate chips, chopped nuts and any other toppings of choice.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Best served immediately after assembly. Apples can be pre-sliced and tossed with lemon juice to prevent browning. Date caramel sauce can be made ahead and stored in refrigerator.
