Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method

Instructions
  1. Cut chicken breast into 1-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels
  2. Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, black pepper, and salt in a bowl and toss chicken pieces to coat evenly
  3. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat with 2 tablespoons butter and olive oil
  4. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, then remove from skillet
  5. Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and minced garlic to skillet, cook for 30-60 seconds until fragrant
  6. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up browned bits from bottom of pan
  7. Return chicken to skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately

Notes

Use room temperature chicken for even cooking. Don't stir chicken while searing to develop golden crust. Fresh garlic provides best flavor. Adjust sauce thickness with cornstarch if preferred.
