- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and pour the maple mustard glaze over the chicken. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the chicken frequently.
- Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) for perfect doneness. The glaze also works beautifully with turkey cutlets or baked tofu as alternative proteins.
